FAQs
What should I wear to the wedding?
We're going for a semi-formal look—think cocktail attire, not black tie. Wear something you feel fabulous in, but leave the jeans and sneakers at home. Let’s keep it stylish, but comfortable enough for some dancing!
Where can I park?
There’s plenty of parking at Gold Creek Chapel!
In fact, there's a lovely car park just across the road that will happily accommodate your noble steed. We recommend arriving a little early to snag the best spot—because we all know the only thing worse than running late to a wedding is circling the car park like it’s the world’s most stressful game of musical chairs. Don’t worry though—parking is free, so you can focus on celebrating without the meter stress!
You can find a google maps link to the car park here.
What time should I arrive?
Arrival time is from 2:00 PM, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 2:20 PM.
We know wedding days can be hectic, but please make sure to arrive on time—because trust us, the only thing faster than the clock ticking down to 2:20 is the bride walking down the aisle (and she might just beat you there if you’re running late)! We’ve got a limited window for the ceremony, so we’d really appreciate it if everyone could be seated and ready to go by 2:20.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place indoors at the stunning Gold Creek Chapel, with a touch of outdoor seating for those who prefer to enjoy the fresh air. The chapel offers an intimate and beautiful setting for our big day, but please note that indoor seating is limited. To ensure everyone has a spot, we kindly ask that you be considerate of space and allow others the chance to sit down. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive on time—especially so you're settled in before the bride walks down the aisle at 2:20!
Can I take photos?
We’d love for you to truly be present and live in the moment with us! We kindly ask that you leave your phones tucked away during the ceremony—after all, we’d much rather see your smiling faces than the back of a phone screen. We’re hoping to create an intimate atmosphere where everyone can focus on the magic of the moment. Of course, we’ll have a photographer capturing all the special memories, and we can’t wait to share those with you! So, feel free to soak it all in and let us do the snapping—we promise it’ll be worth it!
Is there a gift registry?
There’s absolutely no pressure to give us a gift—we’re just thrilled to have you celebrate with us! However, if you would like to contribute, we would be truly grateful for any funds that will help us set up our new life together. We’ve set up a registry fund for those who prefer that option.
Of course, if you’d rather give a physical gift, we’d be equally happy to receive something you feel would be meaningful or useful for our home.
Ultimately, your presence on our special day is the greatest gift of all! Thank you for being part of this chapter in our lives!
Am I invited to the reception?
While we’d love to celebrate with everyone, please note that our reception is reserved for a smaller group of close friends and family who have received specific invitations. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to have you with us as we exchange our vows and start this new chapter together!
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by March 1st, 2025. We’re finalizing all the details, and your response will help us make sure everything runs smoothly.
You can RSVP here. If you have any issues, please let us know and we can help.
What should I do if I have a special request?
We want everyone to have an amazing time, so if you have a special request, whether it’s dietary, mobility-related, or anything else, just let us know. We’re here to make sure your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
